    Size:1.5 to 8 feet tall
    Flower:White, also Yellows, Reds and Pinks
    Habitat:Sea level to 1,000 ft

    The White Shrimp Plant is a very striking herb with tall stems and green elliptical leaves. This plant has come to Hawai'i fairly recently and while not considered an invasive threat it can escape and produce large stands.

    The flower of the White Shrimp Plant is a spectacular spike with small tubular flowers that are mainly white with green veins. On the lower lip of each flower is a white spot outlined with purple. This plant is mostly grown as ornamentals but can be found in the wild as well.
